Weather:- SW force 6
Little in the way of migrants, just a single Willow Warbler to be seen. Terns showed well with 590 Sandwich, 70 Common and 75 Little all being good counts from Hilbre. Insects continued to be in plenty of variety including Emperor dragonfly, and butterflies Green-veined and Small White, Wall, Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Grayling, Peacock and 11 Red Admirals.
