Updates 10th to 19th September 2012

10th September :- 3 Shags, 1 Wheatear, 30 Redshank, 7 Shelduck, 5 Bar-tailed Godwits. Ringed 1 Linnet

12th September :- 1 Slavonian Grebe (off the north end after dawn), 29 Arctic Skuas, moving west before the tide. Four Tufted Duck, 1 Wigeon. (CS)
13th September :- Nineteen Brent, 13 on the west ridge ( 6 took off west over the sea), 29 Bar-tailed Godwit,700 Curlew, 5 Arctic Skuas, 1 Razorbill, 1 Wheatear. (DB)
14th September :-  winds west force 7/8. Two juvenile Sabines Gulls, 1 Grey Phalarope, 2 Pomarine Skuas, 5 Bonxies,4 Leach's Petrels, 42 Manx Shearwaters44 Arctic Skuas, 275 Gannets, 8 Kittiwakes, 3 Red-throated Divers, 23 Great Crested Grebes, 225 Sandwich Terns, 2 Razorbills. Ringed ;- 1 Robin, 1 Goldcrest.  (PSW, et al)     [ 947-29 ]
15th September :-  winds west north west force 4/5 dropping. One juvenile Long-tailed Skua, 3 Manx Shearwaters, 2 Bonxies, 10 Arctic Skuas, 450 Sandwich Terns, 40 Common Scoter, 40 Great Crested Grebes, 20 Gannets, 1 Osprey out by the wind turbines at 13.15hrs, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Wheatear (on Middle), 10 Meadow Pipits in off the sea. 16th September :- Two Sparrowhawks, 1 Manx Shearwater, 4 Red-throated Divers, 41 Great Crested Grebes, 8 Whimbrel, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Skylark, 1 Wheatear, 26 Brent. (DB+ESCA,JE,Jeff Clark and party)  Ringed :- 1 Blackbird.    [ 950-29]
18th September :- winds north west force 7. 1 juvenile Sabines Gull, 13 Leach's Petrels, 5 Bonxies, 2 Manx Shearwaters, 3 Kittiwakes, 14 Guillemots, 1 Razorbill, 26 Brent, 5 Sanderling, 2 Wheatears, 1 Goldcrest. (DB,+John Coupe)
19th September :- winds north west force 6 dropping. Ninety Five Leach's Petrels, 1 Velvet Scoter, 1 Manx Shearwater, 4 Fulmars, 5 Gannets, 2 Arctic Skuas, 1 Kittiwake, 4 Guillemots, 4 Red-throated Divers, 500 Knot, 1 Wheatear, 20 Meadow Pipits in off the sea. Ringed 1 Robin.  (CJ,KMc)      [ 951-29 ]
